MSCA ESRs training

In our role as Partner Organisation in various FP7 and H2020 MSCA ITN ETNs and EIDs we provide workshops specifically tailored to ESRs, contributing to the development of their transferable skills.


EU funding opportunities

Interactive workshop for researchers and technology-oriented companies to identify the best suitable funding schemes for their project ideas and plans.

Objective: You will get in-depth knowledge into available R&D / innovation funding programmes and identify those that are most relevant to your project ideas.

ESRs expand their transferrable skills with in-depth knowledge of EU funding opportunities and how to write a competitive research proposal.

Objective: ESRs know the system of (EU) funding programmes and how to identify the best suitable schemes, know requirements and strategies to write a successful proposal.

  • Different sections of a proposal (Excellence, Impact, Implementation) and how to draft them

H2020 proposal writing

Hands-on workshop on how to write a competitive proposal for researchers who are planning to apply for a Horizon 2020 call.

Objective: You will get an insight into different EU programme requirements, set up your project-specific work plan and learn about successful features of your proposal.

Research project management

Whether they pursue a career in academia or industry, the ESRs will need the skills to plan and manage their own research project. In this hands-on workshop including exercises, the ESRs will acquire the skills necessary for their future research careers.

Objective: ESRs will know the main elements of research project management, useful project planning tools and key rules of EU funded research projects to be able to plan and manage their own research projects.

MSCA proposal writing

Popular workshop on ETN/EID preparation and proposal writing for researchers planning a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action.

Objective: You will get in-depth knowledge on how to write a competitive MSCA ITN ETN/EID proposal, including specific EC requirements, how to set-up a work and plan and attractive training programme.

Project Impact & Outreach

Hand-on workshop for anyone who hast o write the impact section in a H2020 proposal or another grant application.

Objective: You know what information you need for a compelling impact section, how to structure content and bring it efficiently on paper.

    Jeanette has over 20 years of experience in the acquisition and management of publicly funded projects. She knows how to organise projects efficiently and to serve different stakeholders.
      Dr Johannes Ripperger
    Johannes manages several EU projects, he has a track record in successfully supporting researchers and enterprises in acquiring and managing national and international research projects.
      Julia Goetz
    Julia plans the communication activities for internal and external stakeholders of several EU projects and implements them in close collaboration with the respective project partners.
